Supported services

Metro trains: scheduled departures and live predictions when available.
Melbourne trams: scheduled departures and live predictions when available.
Metropolitan buses: scheduled departures and live predictions when available.
V/Line trains: scheduled departures across Victoria; live predictions are not currently provided.

The compact timetable excludes replacement buses and route geometry. Regional coaches and every Victorian bus service are not claimed as supported.

Live predictions and scheduled times

A scheduled time comes from the published timetable. A live prediction uses available realtime feed information. Time to Board labels scheduled or unavailable information so that an example or timetable time is not presented as a live arrival.

Feed delays, cancellations and iOS refresh timing can affect what you see. Check official Victorian transport information when making a journey affected by disruptions.

Service alerts

Time to Board uses train and tram service-alert feeds and matches available alerts to saved services. Do not assume the absence of a matched alert means a service is running normally. See support and service limitations.

Official data, independent app

Timetables are adapted from Victorian Department of Transport and Planning GTFS Schedule data. Realtime features use Transport Victoria feeds. Attribution, licences and modifications are described in Data & credits. Time to Board is not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport Victoria or PTV.
